South Burnett Region provides a number of medical services; in addition to the General Practitioners, Hospitals, Specialist and Ancillary services we are proud to be associated with the Care flight Helicopter service which provides immediate attention and fast medical emergency transport to the major hospitals in Brisbane.
The region hosts 5 Public Hospitals (Kingaroy General being the area’s main emergency care facility with helipad, with four smaller hospitals servicing the surrounding townships) and the South Burnett Private Hospital (based in Kingaroy providing a 28 bed acute care facility, surgical hospital and palliative care unit) and also hosts several community health centres, aged care and dental facilities.
The community is also fortunate to have access to several gyms, personal trainers, physiotherapists and an extensive choice of alternate therapies.
